We have been clients of Luc Van Dijck veterinary centre since the year 2000 when we got our first dog Suki. During this time we have been the lucky owners of four fantastic dogs and each one has always loved a trip to the vets – they look forward to getting a nice cuddle from Mary or Dianne on arrival and they love to see the lovely nurses Pauline and Hilary too for a big fuss!
We have been made to feel like part of a big family at this centre since day one and we have felt so confident that we made the right choice of vets that when we moved twenty odd miles away in 2006 we decided to still stay with Luc rather than find a closer surgery to our new house as we know that we get the best possible care there for our dogs.
To find a vet in whom you have total confidence is such a comfort and we are so lucky because we have found two!
The vets Luc and Ian are both such lovely people and we trust them implicitly with the lives and wellbeing of our dogs without hesitation – and as anyone who knows us could tell you there is nothing in the world that means more than our dogs so that is a huge testimony to the standard of their veterinary skills and the confidence that they have inspired with their abilities.
We know that when our dogs have required surgery or hospitalization they have been in the safest of hands with both the vets and with everyone on the fantastic nursing team, and the standard of care that they have received have always been second to none.
The warm welcome that we receive on every visit never fails and the affection that our dogs receive from everyone there is just so lovely.
The love for animals and commitment to animal welfare in general that we have seen shown over the years by every member of staff at this surgery has been exemplary and we would not hesitate to recommend Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre to anyone.

Needing to attend a vet's surgery can be stressful. A visit to Luc's surgery is like visiting very knowledgeable friends. Your pet is treated sympathetically and you learn, in terms you can understand, the situation. Your animal benefits from expert advice. You feel much happier and bale to cope. It is an outstanding veterinary practice.
Due to ongoing conditions, our fox terrier, Glen, is a regular visitor at the Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre.
Luc and Ian (the vets), the nurses and receptionists are all excellent. They are great with the animals (and their owners) and there's always a friendly welcome. I leave feeling reassured, fully informed and always completely happy with the care and attention Glen has received.
As owners of a loving rescue dog known to get nervous at the vets surgery we wanted just the right fit for both us and our Barney. Luc Van Dijck came highly recommended to us by a neighbour and now over 7 years later we cannot imagine taking Barney anywhere else.
Unlike our previous vet who treated Barneys nervousness as a unwelcome nuisance, ALL staff at Luc's surgery treat Barney with patience and understanding at all times!
Over the years Barney has been treated for a variety of ailments including a sudden onset of seizures which was very scary to witness. Barney has had allergic reactions, stomach ailments, removal of skin growths just to name a few and now at the age of 14 some arthritic changes.
With each visit we are reassured and educated about Barney's condition and feel confident he is always receiving the best of care. Making appointments has always been a stress free experience and there has never been a time that he wasn't seen straight away.
As every pet owner knows emergencies don't just happen during business hours and a few times we have needed to take Barney in out of regular hours. Again it is reassuring to know this was a service available to us. This is a five star veterinary service from the receptionists to Luc himself. We wouldn't dream of trusting our Barney to anyone else!

For nearly 15 years we have taken our dogs and cats to Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre. We have always been pleased with the service and felt we could trust the advice which was always in our pets’ best interest.
With 5 cats and 2 dogs we are regulars at the vets. Ian and Luc take the time to thoroughly explain the issue and treatments. All the support staff are very friendly.
